Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors guides the vision and policy of Springfield Creatives. These are the stewards of our mission—ensuring the organization stays true to its purpose while empowering committees to make big things happen. Board members serve staggered terms, attend monthly board meetings, and collaborate with committees and the broader creative community.
- Set organizational direction and oversee strategic decisions
- Approve the annual budget and monitor financial health
- Collaborate with and support committee leaders
- Participate in the annual planning retreat and goal setting
- Serve as representatives of SGFC to members and the community
- Maintain regular attendance (minimum 4 public and 6 board meetings annually)
- Must be an active member of at least one committee
